FAQs

How do I update my Auburn University password?

  1. Go to auburn.edu/myaccount and log in with your Auburn credentials.
  2. Select Update Password.
  3. Create and save a new password following the posted rules.

Your password change is now complete.  If you need assistance or have questions, contact the OIT Service Desk at itservicedesk@auburn.edu or (334) 844-4944.

What do I need to update after I change my password?

  • Once you have updated your password be sure to update your login information for AU_Wifi, Outlook, and any other accounts that require your AU credentials. For more application specific instructions, check here.

When can I upgrade my phone?

  • Phones are eligible for upgrades every 3 years, with supervisor’s approval.

When can I upgrade my computer?

  • Computers are eligible for upgrades every 4 years, with supervisor’s approval.

My mouse/keyboard died. Where can I get new batteries?

  • AA and AAA batteries are available at the Materials Management Warehouse (Facilities 6).

How can I find out what technology (Apple Airplay, Windows Cast, PC) is available in each of the Facilities Meeting Rooms?

  1. In Outlook, click New Meeting
  2. Click Room Finder
  3. Type FAC in the text box, and then you’ll see all the rooms that are Available or Unavailable
  4. You’ll see the Capacity
  5. Click on the Features drop down listing, and you can select the options to filter the rooms that support the selected options. You can select more than one option.

I've scheduled my meeting and I know what is available in the meeting room. Can you show me how to use it?

I need to request temporary WiFi access for a vendor or a Facilities guest - how do I do that?
