Ryan Wellar recently joined Facilities Management as director of Client Relations.

Wellar came to Facilities Management from Pennsylvania State University in University Park, PA, where he served as the university’s director of Client Services from November 2017 through October 2023.

“Ryan has a tremendous amount of experience leading teams at Penn State to help facilitate and ensure clients have the best experience possible,” said Scott Fuller, assistant vice president of Client Relations. “Ryan worked collaboratively with his facilities and information technology teams, oversaw business relationship managers assigned to various clients, gathered client feedback, and worked to improve processes as a result of the feedback, all in an effort to provide their clients the best service experience possible.”

In his position, Wellar will work together with his Facilities Management colleagues to facilitate improved communication while using client feedback to improve processes and execution of Facilities services.

Wellar graduated from Penn State in 2003 where he worked for 18 years before coming to Auburn.

“I am super excited to see what Ryan will do for us because of his depth and breadth of experience specifically in the area of the customer’s journey and providing the best experience possible,” Fuller said. “He is already showing to be creative, energetic and a team player.”
